With due respect to the author, Ravinder Singh, and acknowledging his own heartfelt love story, I must express that the novel lacks excitement. The narrative style is lacking, the plot is uninteresting, and the story lacks twists, presented in overly simple language. Overall, the book falls below average. Reading it felt akin to perusing someone’s monotonous and boring personal diary. There was potential for a better-written story, but unfortunately, the author couldn’t realize it.
I find it puzzling how the book garnered numerous positive reviews to become a bestseller.
