Frankly speaking….I was hesitant to watch “Rocket Boys.” Why would I be interested in spending my time meant for entertainment to watch a story about two scientists?
Honestly…..after watching all the episodes, I admit I was wrong in my judgment! I will love it if there is next season. Such a brilliant storytelling and screenplay! I never imagined that a story about science, technology, and experiments would be so engaging. Amazing direction! Technical perfection in every aspect! Good music!
Above all, outstanding performance by all actors! Especially, Jim Sarbh as Homi Bhaba – not sure if anyone else would have done justice to this role! His body language, sarcasm, witty dialogues and accent – everything is perfect! Ishwak Singh as Vikram Sarabhai is equally good! Henceforth, whenever I think of Sarabhai, Ishwak’s face would certainly appear in mind!
It gloriously brings life to the triumphs of our scientists! There are no typical Bollywood-Kollywood kind of emotion scenes, idiotic dance/song sequences, and unnatural and melodrama performances.
